Money goes to people helping (and donating books?). There will be a meeting on TUESDAY 6TH AT LUNCH to discuss the book sale.

Amy will ask at Dil Raj to see if we can do the £15 meal arrangement where they keep £7.50 and we keep £7.50.

School Play
We will ask if they can add £1 to the tickets and that will go to World Challenge, a refreshment/bake sale and buckets.

Remember: Meeting on Tuesday!!

EMAIL TO BARNSLEY COUNCIL RE STREET LICENSE

Good Evening, my name is Elizabeth Cherry and I am part of World Challenge 2012, 11 sixth formers from Penistone Grammar School who will take part in the World Challenge programme next year. From January 2012 we have 19 months to raise about £30,000 to fund our trip to a developing country (in this case it is Costa Rica). Whilst we are out there we will take part in tasks such as community construction, helping schools and orphanages & help protect local wildlife. To help with our fundraising we are very interested in procuring a Street Collection License, it will greatly increase our chances of being able to help these children. However we are unsure whether we/the organisation is eligible for this particular license and do not know which relevant documentation we would need to receive a license. The organisation is the national group which is helping us to do this but our individual expedition is who would need the license (we think). Please contact us ASAP with any information you may have.
Yours Sincerely,
Elizabeth Cherry
